Gene Keen

Gene Keen’s music career has truly been international, exciting audiences worldwide. He has performed on a huge variety of stages, from intimate settings to major showrooms, arenas and theaters. His role as Musical Director has included productions for Disney, Sea World, Busch Gardens, and many cruise lines. He also manages entertainment for corporate, convention and private events.

A native of Houston, Texas, and founding member of The Stellar Unit, a vocal group that relives the music of the Big Band Era, Gene moved to Las Vegas in 1986 where his experiences later grew with The Patriot Band, a musical tribute to American patriotism. In 1996 he accepted the position of Musical Director “Emeritus” for the Mickey Finn Show, touring extensively both in the United States and abroad. Gene is a consummate entertainer and brings to the stage and studio fabulous keyboard work, sparkling vocals and amazing valve trombone and trumpet.

Gene has worked with scores of artists in a wide range of musical styles as arranger, conductor and performer, and provides world-class musical support for their projects.

Gene is now directing much of his time to the musical sounds of Duly Noted.  Gene is known to many as “Maestro” as a result of his unparalleled talent in arranging,directing and always amazing audiences with his diversity on his piano, vocals, trombone and more.
